Hands Around the World is a charity initiative launched in response to the global climate change crisis. Led by Ken Kragen the recipient of the United Peace Medal and organizer of We are the World, USA for Africa and Hands Across America, Hands Around the World is inspiring over one billion people to hold hands in a virtual selfie chain around our entire globe and stand together for climate change eradication. The initiative will raise much needed funds for a range of selected climate change projects in association with Florida International University (FIU) Foundation, with its leading programs in climate change research. FIU will provide education platforms and community based projects that will make a real and lasting impact. Hands Around the World is governed by an independent board of Climate Change experts from around the world, funds will be released under their guidance for verticals of Oceans, Rainforests and Forest Regeneration, Clean Water/Air projects and Renewable Energy.
